Being an everyday carry.. for me personally- - I dont know about that. I think i would value that gun way too much to carry it on a daily basi

The crazy thing is...he treats this gun like all the many others he owns. It is not babied in any way. Theyre all tools to him, this one just happens to look good while getting the job done. It does get alot of looks when he is on duty, as you can imagine.

He came and gave a lecture at my University on lethal force, and before we got started, he had to explain the pistol that was shining in his duty belt, so he could get everyones attention back.

I dont doubt that.. He would have to explain it to me, just to get MY attention back!

It is hand engraved, and I dont know the name offhand, but I can find out.

Nope, not even close to retirment, and not even a Ranger (although, Rangers are notorious for carrying weapons like this.) He is a SWAT sniper, who served 2 tours as a USMC Sniper in Vietnam. He has his doctorial degree, and used to run a boys ranch type of school before returning to sniper duties. He really is as interesting a Man as this pistol for sure.

Ill see If I could convince him to get on here, but he typically doesnt spend too much time on computers...most of his spare time is spent teaching firearms courses, rappelling, scuba diving, or traveling. And of course, I dont know much that would lure him away from his children and family at home.

But who knows Ill try. (And ill try to get the engravers name for ya by the end of next week OD)
