That is the First Time that I've ever seen a Basket Weave done on a slide like that!
 I LOVE the way that looks.  That is GREAT! Very Nice Looking Firearm & Quite Tastefully Done.  Great Quality Engraving Too! Nothing makes a gun look worse than BAD engraving & nothing makes a firearm look better than nicely accomplished and thoughtfully "laid~out" High Quality Engraving. Nice Photos Too By The Way! |

Thanks. Anyone wanna guess what the black object is in the background? The hood of the pistol owners Chevy......that is completely covered in rhino lining....from front to back, and all over. Makes a great background for the photos though.

Yes, it is a nice job. Good 1911 platform to put it on also.
I may "pretty up" one of my 1911's one day but right now they are just as used and "abused" as all the others. |

Holey Moley! That's gorgeous! In addition to the details already pointed out, I like the barbed wire motif down each side. What kind of rig does he carry this in? Is it equally splendiferous?

He has various rigs for carry, each is custom made leather, but not extravagant in any way.
