First aquisition for some while.

Been ages since I picked up a fresh gun - already have too many (is there such a thing!). George (dr_cmg) wanted to move on his wife's Bersa Sub Compact 9mm - and tho have plenty of 9's, think it might well suit my wife eventually.

So - weak will trumped guilt - and I picked it up this afternoon from my FFL. Love the feel of this gun - the grip that might not suit some feels great to me and now need to find time to go excercize it!

I must say - if I had a rig to suit I might just carry it myself sometime.

Let me know how it handles, if I don't get my wifes Kimber working I'm moving her to the Bersa 9mm, she loves her Thunder .380 so I know she'll like the 9mm, except for the unchangable grips that is.

Chris, just in case you are interested, the Bersa Ultra Compact is listed on Kevin's list at K&D. Maybe another Eagle Defender with some exotic leather across the top would set the UC9 off nicely. It will also give you something to look forward to for the next 16 weeks or so.

I'll sure hope to put some rounds thru soon - and jdlv4_0 - I know the .380 Thunder well and like it a lot - which actually influenced me toward this lil fella. My wife has mine now and I bought one for step daughter.

Just dry firing this gun - it feels exactly as I expected and I would not anticipate any nasty surprises really.

Oh and George - I might well get a rig from Kevin - and steel myself for the wait!
