I think for right now (Next couple of months) you can drop the 556. Speculation is you won't see one till the end of the year...... Of ciurse take that as rumor.

Hmmm....depending on how long you can hold off your SIG fix...I would opt for the 556....otherwise, get the P229 SAS.

I'm not sure I can get another gun for Christmas. She gave me a Springfield M25 last year.
