Not one bit, wheel guns have been around longer than automatics, thier reliability is unsurpassed and the second shot is always a trigger pull away.

The only thing I will say about carrying a revolver is get some good speed loaders and practice, practice, practice!

Your "Beer Truck" will get pulled over unless you get another set of mud flaps on your trailer. You put them on the tractor, but not the trailer.

Thanks Polar, must have forgot them.
Bud, I have been eyeing a Colt Dick special at the local shop, they want 389 for it, and it looks almost new, slight blueing wear around the muzzle, but EC otherwise. I really want it, but can't justify buying a 38 sp only pistol.

I wouldn't at all feel undergunned with a .38 Special or .357 Magnum revolver.

I personaly felly more than confident with 5 shots. But it seems as if most want the 10+ of a auto now a days. I usualy carry a Glock 30, but just bought this SP101 and for some reason I just love this revo. It's only a 5 shot but with 158gr I can put all 5 in the chest area of a human size target at 10yrds over and over again. The first shot is a draw and fire and I can put a 357 round in the chest area of a human size target at 10 yards in under a sec, .93 to be exact, from under a t shirt IWB uncle mikes cheepy holster.

When the bullets start flying no matter what you are carrying you will feel undergunned.

There was a LONG thread over in the S&W forum by a fellow who sees alot of autopsies involving handguns. He claims the 125 grain .357 appears to be the best round for the caliber, for what it's worth. I wouldn't go volunteering to play catcher for either round. I wouldn't feel undergunned with such a highly regarded weapon as an SP101 either. In the summer heat I sometimes am limited to my .38 +P Airweight and while I'm not as thrilled with it as my .45 I don't feel undergunned while carrying it.
