S&w 625
Got a 625 .45 acp, today. Shot so well I think I'll carry it.
But, what is the trick in using half & full moon clips. I'm having a hard time getting ammo in and brass out of the clips. |

If you don't have the tools, you are going to have very sore fingers! You're right, the 625 will be a great carry gun, albiet somewhat heavy. I am adding mine to my permit too.

Yep - a demooner is easy to make - and mine actually was more than needed in as much as a piece of 1/2" copper pipe will do. Loading a moonclip is not hard but a demooner sure makes short work of getting empties out.
Congrats on the 625 - I love mine - great accuracy and a cinch to shoot. ![]()

IIRC Georgia Arms sells the loaded rds. and Starline Offers the brass.
It is essentially the ol' ACP, only with a rim which does the same thing as a moon clip. It is loaded to the same pressures as the ACP's also. -------- |

Haven't checked Bud - but does Starline do those auto rim?
I like their brass and well might get some auto rim - only need the suitable shell-holder and be good to go.
