XD .45 sc?

Anyone here of this being planned to produce or if it will really happen? Thought I read somewhere about it possibly being made.

I read that too, I believe that it is in the works. SF has to keep up with the others like the G30 and now the S&W M&P SC. It's coming, just a matter of time.

ETA - Actually I am not sure or actually don't know if S&W will offer the M&P SC in a .45! the way it reads I am impleying they will. I doubt it!

They'll probably make an anouncement sometime in January. Maybe even at the Shot Show.

i'd buy one =o) was thinking about getting the 40 sc but if they come with the 45......its as good as got =O)

yep , my girl friend is intrested in the 40 sc, but might wait if they make a .45

Id like to see them make a sc in both 45"s the acp and the gap. More variety. I have the 9 now but would probably get the gap if they made it. Have a good one and be safe.

Over on the XD forums I keep reading early 2007. But who knows where that comes from. Might be baseless internet info so take it with a grain of salt.

I read an article on it and if I remember correctly it cited spring 2007 as a release time frame.
