Machine guns, silencers, etc

Our business (which I am part owner of) recently changed from LLC to Incorporated. What does this mean for me as far as machine guns, silencers, etc?

Pick up a copy of Small Arms Review, you can order a copy online, if you can't find it locally. IIRC, the legal section editor is Mark Langlotz or something like that. He's addressed this a couple of times. A call is just a buck or two......

Nothing. An LLC and an Inc are both a corporation and treated as an individual for purposes of the NFA regulations. You had to file articles of incorporation (or other nomenclature) when you registered your LLC. That is a corporation. Doesn't matter if it is an LLC or Inc after your business name.

I do believe you do not need the fingerprints, local LE signatures etc. I have some friends that own several Class 3 toys and they get to bypass that step.

If you don't have an SOT (class3 FFL) then you will need to prints, LEO signatures, and pay the 200.00 tax stamp fee.....

Actually, for once on that you're not correct. ;)

LLC/trust/corporate filings bypass the print/signature/photo requirements.

You include a copy of the relevant corp/trust/llc documents in their place.

I can send you a nice copy of my approved form 1s if you don't believe me ;0
