Keep in mind that there will be a shipping charge added to the price of the gun. Once it is at your FFL you will need to pay a transfer fee of anywhere between $15 to 30. Depending on your local FFL.
Once I bought a gun from a guy in Illinois on gunbroker.com. It was his first time and he was nervous about staying legal. I set up the transfer on my end but he told me that he went to a local dealer and they told him he had to pay some transfer fees to the state of Illionois before he could ship the gun. He said it cost him $45 for it before UPS would ship the gun from IL. Has any one else heard of such things from draconian gun states like IL?

I don't now if he was trying to get me to send him more money, I don't think so because he never asked for me to pay for it. He just told me he had to pay it. Maybe he was getting ripped off?

My other purchases have been from FFL dealers in pro gun states, and I had absolutly no problems and got some great deals.
