A fave old clip that - one of the best for its genre IMO.

I think tho if clearing traffic - it would probably clear the whole highway for a mile up front !

Problems too with BATFE I hear Oh and ammo costs!

The one of the little Hughes 500 looks like it's shooting a flame thrower. Cool!

There are a few legally in civilian hands. One guy I know was at an outdoor range when one showed up. The owner said a few minutes of fun was worth several thousand $$'s in ammo so it only came out once or twice a year! Oh but the fun of those minutes......

Last transferable mini gun I saw had a tag of around $250,000!

Several Points...

I don't know if Fist makes a holster for this...
I would have to buy a 'larger' print shirt...
I'm not sure where to put the 'extra' mags...
I was looking for an AR-15...but this has changed my mind...

Very nice. I've seen a couple of those clips in History Channel shows. The red tracers look particularly hellish in low light. Every fifth or so round indeed.

Chris is right. I'd hate to have to feed one of those!

If any of you guys have the movie "Resident Evil, Apocalypse, watch the making of extra. The actor that uses the custom hand held mini gun, talks about how much it pushed him back, it also shows angles and clips not seen in the movie. The dude is HUGE and he fires it off and takes a couple steps back. (Not as cool as the vehicle mounted ones that REALLY work, but still neat to watch.) Being a movie gun it may be, but it is still cool.
