Full auto MP
I am trying to educate myself because I have always been curious about wether or not a civilian could own a full auto MP/MG. I am in the military, so it is not like I don't get the chance to shot full auto, albeit a three round burst. If anybody could help me get my learn on I would really appreciate it, thanks

yeah, if your state allows it and it was legally registered before May of 1986 then you can buy and own them. There are taxes that you have to pay ($200 for a machine gun for example) but those taxes are "nothing" when you compare them to the price of a popular machine gun... M-16s can go in the mid to upper teens ... converted AR-15s can go in the 10 grand to low teens range... M-60 about $30,000.
Entry level MGs would be a Mac 9/10/11 and can be had for 3k and UZIs are another less expensive option for around 6-7k I'm currently saving up for a RDIAS (registered drop-in auto sear) for my AR... I'm hoping to have enough money to buy one by the time I leave NY. They are currently in the 11k-14k range depending on what they are made of and who made them etc. ...unfortunatly most of these prices have gone up quite a bit in the last few years...since there is a finite supply and growing demand. AR15.com has a prettey decent Title 2 / Class 3 setcion... got to www.ar15.com click on "Arms & Tactics" Under that you will see the NFA section with General Class 3 Class 3 Firearms M-16 Destructive Devices New Suppressors (previews) Suppressors Also if you are looking to see what you can afford then check out the prices on http://www.machinegunprices.com/ |

Class 3/ full auto seems like its more hassle than its worth.
Then again, I get my fill of it. I am wanting to get my hands on a suppressed bolt action .22. ![]() |

Sounds like you live in Alabama..........If so..............you can own a Machinegun, Sound supressor or both...............You can't own a short barrelled rifle, or shotgun.. You can also own a Destructive device (M203/m79 etc) .. hope this helps.............good luck.............I hope they sign all your Form 4s for you
