My friends and family still wonder why I carry a firearm on me at all times. The only person that actually understands me is my sister. That's why every Halloween I sit out in the garage and give out candy, in the freezing cold and all. I was also packing my XD9 while giving out candy this year.

And people ask why I carry every wakeing hour and have 3 loaded guns at hand while sleeping. They ask why have gun when answering door to strangers, Why carry gun while working in Yard, this is why.

I'm guessing that this was a time of year where Wearing Masks is common & would not attract any attention.

So these "hotshots" figured they could do a perfect Kill For Thrill and get away with it.

But, there were three of them and one of the three will BRAG about it to the wrong person and they will eventually get caught.

They are coward types and once the cops grab one...he'll cry and spill his guts & rat on the other two.

I live just a few miles from where this happened. The way it was reported on the local news the man was shot immediately upon opening the door. Even if he had been armed, it is very doubtful he would have had time to assess the situation and produce his own weapon. Apparently, the shooter shot as soon as he saw the man's face. As a result of this crime, I'm sure there will be fewer homes offering candy to 'trick or treaters' next Halloween.

You are right. I would have been shot too. I am fast but not that fast. I hope the cops get the BG.
