1st New Guns of 2007

I just bought my first guns of 07.

1st one is a mint condition..... Colt Diamondback .38 spl
4" barrel nickel plated with original grips, box and papers. Finish is probably 99 %-99.5% there is a small, minor factory blemish near the top strap. Other than that gun is in perfect condition.

2nd purchase was a Taurus Raging Bull in .454 stainless steel, with a 6.5 ported barrel.

Sorry for not having Pics, I need to buy a camera. I will post as soon as I borrow/or buy one.

Also will post a range report on Raging Bull when I can.
Not planning on shooting the Diamondback anytime soon, sooo...no report expected.

Springfield Loaded Stainless 1911A1 9mm. I have ordred it but is apparently a hard gun to get so it is taking a couple of week's.

Smith & Wesson Model 640 stainless snubby .38 spl. bought (barely) used at a local pawn shop. 98% revolver, I don't think the owner ever shot it. Lotsa dust in the cylinder bores and barrel. Internal workins were dry. Cleaned, lubed and a little stoning & polishing of the internals, she locks up tight, no cylinder rock side to side or fore & aft. Slick smooooth DA trigger.
Put the crimson trace laser grips off my (sold) Taurus M85 Ti, (Yes they fit.) & off to the range. It shoots easy 2" groups at 30 ft. with full power 158 grain SWC ammo.
Paid about half what a new one would cost.
My fourth S&W revolver.
Added a Browning Hi power mkIII in .40 S&W to my armory a week later. A good deal that just called out to me: "take me home, take me home."

And we are only 9 days into the New Year? Either you are NOT married, or your wife owns a guns shop...

Enjoy...

Stay armed...stay safe!

Well my first 'Drool' over a gun I can't afford happened yesterday.
!895 Winchester in 30.06 Bore was in great condition, stock had been carved by original owner with his initials. Price was $1600.
Someday I'll own one but I'll probably have to win the LOTTO.

Bought a Savage 12FV in .204 Ruger on the 5th... have already re-stocked it (those savage plastic stocks are worthless) and my Weaver KT15 is supposed to be in today...
