Yep! A convert to the Church of the Painful Truth, as it were. One of my co-workers from an old job in NH first helped me understand what I could call myself that was actually indicative of what I believed in. He has since run as a libertarian in his district for the NH senate. I remember one day, we were wandering around Concord, and just outside of the state Republican HQ there were a bunch of protesters. One of them had a bull horn, and kept saying "Keep it up, let's give Dick Cheney a heart attack!" My friend walked over two blocks to the Concord PD, and reported that there was a group on Main Street threatening the life of the Vice President... I just had to laugh and shake my head when I saw two cruisers and the mobile command center come around the corner, sirens blaring and lights blazing. It was like watching cockroaches scatter when you turned the lights on! Yep... Libertarians are wacky.

I don't have the opportunity to listen to Mr. Valentine often, but when I do, I usually like what I hear.

The morning show host on WIST AM690 in New Orleans, Mr. Shane Warner, has also had CCW as a topic these last two days. He has done a great job of promoting the positive aspects of CCW and has rebuffed many callers that were on the other side of the fence. I have e-mailed him to thank him and to ask for his continued support.

I like the trend I'm seeing in the media. Let's keep up the efforts wherever we can to show the anti's how important this issue is in keeping our communities safe.

For those who want to hear Phil Vanetine, here's the WWTN link: http://www.streamaudio.com/stations/asx/WWTN_FM.asx

I heard him going through TN two weeks ago and I'm hooked, listening to him online after Dave Ramsey now daily. I like his opinions and his stance on CCW and other issues. We need more voices like him out there to get the message across now more than ever.
