Florida teen says he will kill 100 - Page 2

His wires are fried in some fashion. He'll kill at some point, like as not, feeling as he will that he's being "put upon" in some way by society. The sorry little bugger may well not even realize that threats of this sort are deadly-serious, adult-type threats. We can't have demons roaming the streets. He's setting himself up for a short life of pain and suffering, going down that road, despite imagining that road has a golden ending.

Nobody gives a hoot about an average 14 yr old kid. By 14 yrs, the hormones are raging, and the world can seem an unforgiving, heartless place. To someone longing for attention of any sort, such a violent way to Hell might seem attractive, despite the fact you'd consign yourself to history as just another murderer/lunatic with zero contribution who is unworthy of any further thought. To say nothing of ruining the lives of countless people undeserving of such things.

Sad.

Miggy- Canning will not change a sick mind. This child is obviously a danger to self and others and should be hospitalized/medicated. Problem is then he may be more rational so they will discharge him and it will be a matter of time before he stops the meds and kills 100 people. Only answer I see is that the first of the 100 has a ccw and protects himself and the other 99.

The really sad thing is, every time there's a school shooting we see this wave effect for the next several weeks. Unfortunately now that VT has been splashed all over the news I think we're probably going to see more like it before Summer rolls around.

Even the airlines and FAA are allowing pilots to undergo training and carry weapons onboard now so why the HELL can't our country's teachers do the same?
