I use bicycle tire inner tubes on my Glock 19. They are better than any other slip on I've tried. I'd recommend one for you if the XD didn't have the grip safety!

I use a small Pachmayr on my XD 9sc and it works very well. It does not get in the way of the grip safety as it does not cover the entire grip. I just purchased the XD .45 Compact and am also thinking of putting the Pachmayr on it as well.

I made my own grips. I bought some stair tread tape and cut grips out of that.

I also use bicycle inner tubes on all of my polymer guns, including my XD's. Works great, it's cheap, and does not add as much thickness as the others.

I cut down the Hogue as well - I really like the integral palm swells on the Hogue hand-all.

Mo, Just curious... Did you use a grease pencil to get the white lettering on your slide? Looks kind of cool!
