Only you can determine what exactly its doubting.
I used to have those dreams too. Then I took some tactical classes and I had full confidence in my "nightmares"

As I said its your subconscious that feels that way. You may be 100% confident in your training.
Nope no embarassment here. I know what it means, and its very common for people to have these types of dreams. I had them all the time when I first became an LEO, and had them until my first incident then they stopped. There have been a few threads on this topic, my mention of them now was an attempt at humor.

As far as handguns go:

As far as long guns go:

I tend to have pretty practical dreams.

I want a gun that disappears in an OWB holster and is light enough to carry 24/7 and fit me perfectly in the ergonomics catagory. I also want accuracy out at 50yds to be 2" or smaller and have little to no recoil at all. Stopping power should be unrivaled and the weapon would actually compress the surrounding air particles to generate its own ammunition. This way I could thumb my nose at ammo prices indefinitely and never have to worry about the capacity of my magazines or FTE/FTF's ever again. Oh, and since it doesn't fire any type of "ammunition" it's not subject to any laws or restrictions. A burst/auto selector is optional and the weapon will come with all those parts, the backstraps and any other accessory free of charge and be replaced for the lifetime I own the pistol.

It would be legal in California and anger the politicians to the point they can't sleep at night. NJ would also throw a fit as well as the other gun hating states. Ha, Ha.................time to start cutting my frame out of plywood to get started!!

That depends on your income. It will take me two years maybe three to get the gun's I pictured. At least It's not impossible though.
