Come to the Sooner State, boys. We haven't had a whole lot of good manufacturing jobs pumped into the state in a long time.
And you ain't never gonna get Illinois (or NYC or DC) kinda laws here, boys. Never.

What's the pits is the sheer cost of moving a business like this can be tough to recoup. These lawmakers like to think they can dictate to the poor businessman not realizing they can easily break your budget and put you under. If forced to move all that lost revenue and moving expenses has to come from some where, we aren't allowed to print more like he govt!

I'm really happy to have escaped from that place. Still have to break one daughter out of there and get her back to the civilized world. I'm working on it.

Terrible economic nightmare for the manufacturers.... Some may not even be able to afford to move.
Too much bad legislation and some may have to just close doors for good. Thing is, I don't see Illinois politics getting any better in the foreseeable future. I think Les Baer is smart gettin out while the gettin is good. I would think each year you avoid the move, the expense just goes up to do it later. I also think we should support their move... anyone that bites the bullet and makes the move should be rewarded with new customers. I would have no problems buying any Les Baer products when I can afford them. I just bought a Springfield gun and hopefully they have made a move to a new state by the time I buy another Springfield gun.
