I don't see anything for the 3" bull bbl. Kimbers, they have the dual captured recoil spring PITA apparatus.

But Kimbers online store does have them for sale.

Ah, right, it's an Ultra.

I would change all the springs though, even if you'd have to buy the recoil spring separate.

also check to see if the Extractor is clocking as ten ring pointed out after my post easy way to do it is to take a sharpie my fav gunsmithing tool and mark the top of the extractor with the slide closed

Now very carefully better with dud true ammo not snap caps slap a mag in and drop the slide.. See if the extractor turned one way or the other and note how much

then rack it briskly your trying to simulate it cycling and see again did the Extractor turn do this a full mag and get back to me ..

After doing a "home tune" to the extractor and taking it to the range today, I'm happy to report that after a box of 50, not one single casing had those markings. I picked up all of my brass and looked it over VERY carefully.

All looks and is acting well and I'm hoping it stays that way!!

It may be a good idea to replace the extractor and springs anyway, but for now it seems that my gun is cured.

Thanks for all the help!! I don't know what I'd do without this place! (Okay, that's a lie, I'd call a gunsmith, but this is cheaper! )
