Saiga 308
I'm looking for information in the way of "hands on" shooting this rifle chambered in 308, I've read a lot about it but have not spoke to anyone that has shot one.
" The first rule of a gun fight is to have a gun" Thanks |

Here are two threads that I started about my Saiga .308 and my SKS.
Guess What I Got for Christmas Shot the new rifles today The only real problem with the Saiga .308 is getting magazines that have a decent capacity. A place called FBMG (which stands for Fuzzy Bunny Movie Guns) has produced some 20 round mags, but they have been out of stock for at least two and a half months. Their projection was to have them in late June, but the website still shows them out of stock. As far as I have been able to determine this is the only place that you can get magazines other than the 8 rounders from Saiga.

You can have M-14 magazines modified for the Saiga .308, or you can modify them yourself.
*Disclaimer* Just be sure to put the right amount of US parts into the rifle before using high cap mags...(922r) How to modify a M14 mag to fit a saiga 308 http://www.ak47.net/forums/topic.html?b=4&f=80&t=88703 |
