I have been told by the Sporting Goods Department Managers at both the Clarence, N.Y. and Lockport, N.Y. Walmart Stores that the company has discussed ending ammunition sales.

near me, ammo - yes, guns - no. but the rumors while flying even between the wal-mart employees whether they were going to stop selling or not. so far so good.

Here in Arkansas, the founding home of W-m, they sell rifles, shotguns, muzzleloaders, air rifles, paintball guns and softair guns. They sell ammo for all including pistols. But sell none of the evil handguns.

A lot of the WM's around here have stopped selling guns altogether. After inquiring I was told they don't sell enough to make it worth it for them. I find that hard to believe. I am looking forward to Bass Pro opening early next year!!

F.Y.I. In the last two weeks I have been to both the Wal-Mart in Madera, CA and the store in Klamath Falls, OR. Both are selling ammo for both handguns and rifle. Klamath Falls is selling long guns as well. Of course I don't believe any of the CA Wal-Marts are selling guns anymore.
