Another for my 22 obsession
Well I love 22's (not for defensive purposes) since you can go out and have an afternoon of fun for less than $10. So here is the most recent toy added to my collection.

Very nice. Is it a Ruger frame and aftermarket barrel, action? .22 are fun I own a few different pistols for plinking/hunting.

Looks potential for much ''grin factor"
![]() I always almost without fail when at the range have a spell on pure .22 plink-fun. My Marlin 60 eats a ton of grin and also the 22/45 as well. If I can find the patience for the (relatively) slow load/reload of a revo - the K22 and/or Single Six will see action! Anyone ever had a rainy day at the range and (safely) tried to empty a puddle of water ![]()

Looks great. Is this an aluminum upper with a sleeved barrel? How much does it weigh compared to a factory gun?
I saw this company on one of the shooting shows on the outdoor channel this week. They make some innovative things. |

Yes its a Pac-Lite on a Ruger MKIII frame, still irks me that Ruger serializes the "upper" for this model but oh well. I haven't had it to the range yet, hopefully tomorrow. And the weight is night and day. The new "barrel" is 7.4 oz. The total weight of the frame and original barrel is 42 oz (5.5" Bull) and the lightest from Ruger is 35 oz (4 3/4" tapered). All I know is its light. The wife said it might be her favorite to take to the range so I might end up getting another. ;)
Anyone know if there is a way to get just the "frame" for a MkIII I've heard that Ruger isn't too keen about selling them unless it's a swap for a defective one.
