Marlin 336 Good Price?

Local sportsman's warehouse has the Marlin 336 in .30-30 for $359. I've been looking for a lever gun, is this a good price?

Its not to bad at all. Wally world runs a special on that gun almost every deer season that I've been paying attention, they have them at a great price too.

Depends on what model it is. If it's a 336C it's a very good price. The 336W's at Wally World aren't made with the walnut stocks and come a little cheaper.

I sell (local FFL pawn shop) used 336C's usually for $199.95 used, and can't keep them.

If that is a new price, and it is a 336C, I would say absolutely.

I think it's going to depend on the condition and model. My 336C was a good bit more than that... I'd say snag it. It has turned into my deer/brush rifle.

Thanks for the advice.

Put it on layaway today. Will be paying it off when the paycheck rolls around tomorrow afternoon....right after I pay off the credit card

BTW Condition is Brand New in Box.

This store doesn't sell any used firearms.

Now you need to work on adding to your Marlin Collection.

You need to get a 336c or 336sc in a .32 Win Special (will have to be used) and .35 Remington.

All are good shooters, and easy to carry.
