Getting guns to Alaska
I was wondering... Is there a legal way to transport firearms when driving from the lower 48 to Alaska? No way to avoid traveling through Canada. Can you have them checked to see that they are unloaded, locked, etc at the border?
It seems like there should be some sort of "peaceable journey" allowed for legal firearm owning US citizens to get from one parts of the US to another... |

Before you go through Canada, go to this website: http://www.cfc-cafc.gc.ca/factsheets/visitin_e.asp
See Option 1 Form 909 for 3 or less firearms, form 910 for 4 or more... |

Contact WildAlaska over at the fireing line call 800/992-4570 and ask for Ken email is wildwestguns@alaska.net. his website is http://www.wildwestguns.com/ Ken is a good sort , and deals with this issue all the time so go to someone who knows , Oh and he is a great guy to buy from if you get into a deal too lol . I get no consideration for posting him and likely a butt chewing if he gets more than a dozen or so contacts on the issue without sales ect.. He deserves it tho lol .
