I have tru glow's on my Glock 19. I was looking for fiber sites, and the price on tru glows was reasonable and they combined fiber / night.

Glock = XS 24/7 Big Dot Tritium http://www.xssights.com/store/handgun.html

1911 = Wilson Combat Tactial Combat Sites http://www.wilsoncombat.com/a_sights.asp

Not that night sights are imperitive but I like to have them if nothing else to make a positive locate on the gun.

I use Meps and Trijis--they're interchangeable. No difference apparent from where I'm standing, period. As a side note--the ONLY reason to change the sights is to get rid of that plastic GLOCK front sight! IMHO, night sights are over-rated and NOT necessary equipment for a defensive handgun.

If it's too dark to see the sights, why are you shooting? If it's light enough to see the target, why do you need night sights? <g> Buy a flashlight.

I like them, and between Mepro and Trijicons, I can't really tell a whole lot of differance.

I like truglo as well, though I have a hard time using them in low light. I know that is probably opposite from anyone elses experience, but I am more accurate without them.

I'd say the same thing...have both (one or the other) on most of my guns...side by side...the Trij's MIGHT have a slight edge...OMO

Stay armed...stay safe!

Glock 26: TruGlow TFO's

I just had a set of Meprolites installed on my G19 yesterday. They glow very bright, and the armorer who installed them did a good job. I haven't had any experience with other brands, but Meprolites seem to be of great quality, and seem to be the most popular next to Trijicon.

I have had the OEM Meprolights on two of my Glocks and Trijicons on another for a while. I have now changed all of them to green/yellow Tru Glo TFOs.
