Great day at the range!

Yesterday I went shooting with my LEO buddy at their range. I put over 1k rounds through my Thompson, and about 300 rounds through their full-auto M4. It's hard to find an outdoor range around here that allows full-auto fire, so I don't get to shoot my fun stuff too often. The only down side to yesterday was that my MP40 turned into the "jam-o-matic"...I couldn't get one mag to feed perfectly. I also took a couple of handguns but never got around to dirtying them up. Today it looks like I'll be detailing some guns and mags and sorting some brass. I guess I have to replenish my ammo supply for the next range day also.

Cool

Your daily carry isn't an MP40 by chance, is it?

German MP40 "Schmeisser" subgun

The German World War II MP40 sub machine gun (Maschinenpistole 40) was manufactured by Erma Werke and widely used by paratroopers and squad leaders.

Nice! I got to handle (not shoot) one for a few minutes at the Annapolis PD Headquarters one years ago.

Nice, it's been a few years since I've shot full auto. My Uncle Sam paid for it then.
