Glock is cracked

I noticed this about a month ago, there are two maybe three cracks where the recoil spring sets in my G30. There are only 350 rounds through it, 11 of those rounds were federal hydroshock 185 +P. I am going to call glock today but i just wanted to see if this had ever happened to anyone else, thanks

Are you talking about the spring assembly itself, or the block it sits in?

I've never had one single issue with my Glocks. Sorry that you've come across trouble. I'm sure that if you contact customer service that they will fix it right up for ya.

Mr. Cheatum; You need to get that replaced ASAP. I won a G34 in the Glock here in San Antonio a couple of years back, and was on my way to a repeat performance when that block broke in half, seizing up the gun. It took a Glock armorer about an hour to free it up to get the slide off to replace it. I havent had a problem since, but it proves the point that Glocks can and do fail.......

Just talked to glock, they said send her in and we will check it out. Anything i should be aware of as far as shipping the gun, he said he wants the whole thing not just the frame, i think that might be a problem for the shipping companies, am i wrong???

Can’t ship US Postal, have to us UPS or Fed Ex.

And some UPS stores won’t ship guns.

Yup, found that out the other day, you must use UPS or Fed-ex terminals to ship, and I believe it has to be overnight shipping.

Yep, overnight shipping for handguns. I'd just call the local UPS and ask where the "hub" is - get the number and make sure they're ok with it first. Then you won't have any unusual surprises...
