Time for Knob Creek Road Trip!!

One day I am going to take the drive to Kentucky to visit this event. The reporter wasn't for it or against it he pretty much road the line, could have been better could of been a lot worse too!!!

I always say I will go and then at the last minute realize that I will do horrible damage to my bank account if I do. I will make it down there at some point though. That's for sure.

I live about 20 miles from Knob Creek. The shoot weekend is an adventure.

I shot the pistol match last year and will likely add the match this year. The pistol match was fun.

Be prepared to walk. The parking "luck of the draw" can put you 20+ minutes walk from the entry point. There are mule shuttles that will transport you.

It's fun but I will say if I lived much further away, I wouldn't go. I spent 20 years on active duty so the alure of auto fire isn't that great for me. I do think the rent-a-flamethrower thing is pretty cool.
