I keep a 20 round mag in my S&W 915 around my home. But I replace it with a flush fitting 15 round mag when I carry it.

I just ordered three more S&W Model 59 series 30 round mags for my Kel Tec S2K. All of my 15, 20, and 30 round mags will function in both my 915 and S2K. But the 30 round mags do appear strange when used in my 915.

Regarding the legal aspect of using deadly force against a thug: Why should it matter what I use to stop an attacker, because it sure doesn't matter to me.

I have my XD SC for concealed carry, and extended magazines don't lend themselves well to concealment. I use extended magazines at the range, to cut down reloading time. But when I carry, it's with the regular short magazine.

Again, I never really wanted to use this gun as concealment. It's a fullsize!

Yeah, into the practice/apocalypse bag it goes.

Thing is, the standard magazines already hold 17, so it's not like I've got no room for error before reloading.
