Thumbs up Transformational Defense Industries Carbine

This looks pretty sweet. The demo vid showed absolutely no muzzle rise at all. It got a spiffy recoil vectoring system that takes the rearward recoil forces and cams them down instead of back toward the shoulder. It looked like the softest shooting lil rifle I've ever seen.
Right now in .45 & 9mm and the 9 will take Glocker 21 mags with an added extension to allow them to accept 30 rounds. Truly a neat firearm.

After six years of research-and-development, Transformational Defense Industries (TDI) is ready to bring what has been acknowledged as “the first major technological breakthrough in weapons operating systems in more than 120 years” to the U.S. firearms market.

Featuring TDI’s patented KRISS Super V System that virtually eliminates barrel elevation (by 95%!) and dramatically reduces felt recoil by more than 60 percent, TDI has developed a full family of KRISS weapons for the civilian, military and law enforcement markets. The first two products -- the KRISS Vector SMG™ .45 ACP and the semi-automatic Vector CRB/SO™ .45 ACP – will be available for purchase during first quarter 2008 and its exciting MVS™ 12ga Shotgun set for release in Fall ‘08. All semi-automatic carbine versions are ATF approved.....continued...plus other write ups.
Click the above link.

I'm thinking that I'll buy this for Mrs QKShooter who cannot tolerate any heavy recoil due to a previous neck/shoulder injury.

That looks pretty cool. I would like to know what the cost will be for the .45 and the 12 gauge. Both would make nice additions to my collection.

I bet the ATF doesn't approve the shottie. They'll call it a 'destructive device' like the SPAS12 & street-sweeper......so us lowly serfs can't have it......

According to the Shooting Illustrated article, the MSRP for the 45acp version will be $1100-$1300.
