I think those are nice looking 1911s. At that price, I'd have a hard time not buying it-even on plastic-and promising myself I'd sell something to make up for it later.

That's what plastic is for...EMERGENCIES!!!!! It's not like you're financing a ski boat. I'd pounce instantly.

If that's before the $100 rebate, that's a once in a lifetime deal. If it's not, it's just a really good deal.

Well, I followed Captain Crunch's suggeston, and went and put it on layaway this afternoon. I will have the rest of the money in a couple of weeks, just in time for that rebate that Smith & Wesson has right now.

I didn't realize it before, but the serial number on this gun is under 1,000 also. Of course, that could be completely meaningless.

I don't know if I am going to keep it, but I know it would have forever bothered me if I didn't get it.

I think you made the right decision. Be sure to post lots of pics when you get it.

Glad you decided to get the gun...you would have hated yourself for a long time if you passed it up.

Does it come with a guarantee that you will shoot it just like Koenig does?

Very nice deal. If you change your mind and your shop will ship it to my FFL, let me know. I'm all over that.
