Targets.


You know, the life sized silhouettes of movie stars, on heavy cardboard stock, that the stores use to promote new DVD releases. When they're done with them, they just throw them away.

I picked up this one of Will Smith (I Am Legend) today. And no, this has no racial overtones, and yes, my club's range has no target restrictions.

Now I just have to find one of George Clooney.

Great idea! I never thought about what happens to all those old movie posters....if you stockpile them, you might be able to make a buck in 10 years or so. I like the targets idea better!

My daughter works at a movie theater. Maybe she can get me a few.

She did get me a Pirates Who Don't Do Anything poster, but somehow, I just don't think I could shoot Larry the Cucumber.

When I had my archery shop I always wanted to get some Barney posters for targets. I think they would have gone over bigtime!

I "aquired" a couple of old stuffed barney's ...... saturated 'em with water. SPLAT!

Those movie star cutouts as targets is aGREAT idea!! Will try that.
My old next door neighbor got a full-sized cutout of Laura Croft for his birthday a few years back. Never thought to grab some for the range.
