On A $7.00 item, He should have sent you two!!
I think he has lost more then $7.00 today!! or $4.00 (cost)
With thousands of customers, what's a couple $$ to keep your customers happy? Poor Business men!!

Thumbs down Wow

After reading this thread, I was disgusted. I can not believe any business would treat their customers this way. Plus insult you in an email with a God bless you on the bottom too. I sent him an email telling him I would not be interested in any of his products with a attitude like that. Plus I was spreading the word about his business as a no buy.

Got an email back in less than 5 minutes

My reply is on the top, his is on the bottom.

Sorry, your facts don't jive.

He stated that you sent him a nasty gram with the following reply.

"Phil I just checked your order. You did order two, and that is exactly
what I sent you. I pack all of my orders myself. I have a check-off system that I go by so this sort of thing dose not happen. I then weigh each package to make sure everything is in the package. I do not know what happen to the other insert, but when it left here it was in there.
Please check your package again. Thanks, Pat@tommysgunpack.com"

He then emailed you back asking you to ship the remainder or the order or a refund. Here was your reply back.

"We don't give refunds. Thanks again, God Bless, and still have a great
evening, Pat@tommysgunpack.com"

And yes he did reply that you finally sent him a note telling him you were going to send him the rest of the order.

Sorry, Customer service is number one with me with a company. Your story doesn't jive.

>Thank you for allowing me to explain that there are two sides to
every story. We stand behind everything we do here at Kicking' A Packs 'N
Stuff. We have many thousands of customers, and we try to take care of any
problems that occur along the way. When you do as much business as we do,
there is always going to be those that, no matter what you do, you just
cannot make happy. We have not become a successful company by not taking
care of our customers. Unfortunately, anyone can join these forums, and
they can say anything they want. It doesn't matter if they're being
truthful. Just because it is written, does not mean it is the Gospel
truth. Kickin' A Packs sells high quality products, and we do take care of
our customers, and we have thousands that will testify to this. They do
just that by re-ordering from us, time and time again. If you've ever
ordered from us, you would know I'm not
just making this up. But a couple of people - and that is all there really
is - are
unhappy, and they make noise. The same people keep talking about their
issue over and over again, compounding what was an isolated incident. I am
sorry we could not satisfy these people. My guess is nobody else can,
either. I do hope you give us the chance to show you that we have an
outstanding company and stand behind everything we sell and say. Thank
you. God bless you and yours. Steve the customer in question forgot to
tell anyone that the part of his order that was missing was shipped out to
him after his very first e-mail. After I received his very first e-mail
The item that was shorted was on a UPS truck shipped to his address. The
number one thing in any business is the customer. Under all circumstances
they need to be taken care of. That is exactly what I did. Unfortunately
this customer will not tell anyone that. Thank you,

Pat@tommysgunpack.com

It seems Pat has started to change his tune.

I am glad for that, maybe the next guy will get better care.

That, of course won't be me.

By the way, Pat and I had 3 e-mails. Then when I called him, he then informed me that he already shipping the item. I of course asked why he just didn't say that in the first e-mail. I of course was lite at that point. Then we had a lengthy conversation in which Pat made his main points, that he was perfect, and actually told me that he never makes shipping mistakes, never and that I was cheating him. I was admittedly not very friendly during the conversation.

After the phone conversation which he hung up on me, he sent me the following e-mail:

Your order has been filled. God bless you, or maybe you do not need
his help. After all you did tell me over the phone how powerful you are. Anyhow your order has been filled, and what the heck, God bless ya anyway.

I did not reply to him. The final e-mail he sent told me not contact him any more. I blocked his address as he requested and have not had any correspondence with him since that request.

Again, I am just glad it sems he got the point. I wish him luck.

philman, hopefully you get the rest of your order.

I don't know of many people who personally pack everything they send, and then weigh them afterwards, just to make sure. Sounds pretty crazy to me.

Some people have bad days, and I can understand that. But when he told you that he never makes mistakes, that you were lying, and that you were trying to cheat him, he lost any of my future business.

I found that funny too, the item that was left out was a less than 6 oz item, in an order that i am guessing weighed 7 or 8 pounds.

The online company I run does just that, we weigh item before we ship, but the lightest item probably weighs over 5 pounds, most of them weigh 50 or more, that is pretty easy to see that the numbers do not add up.

I have no doubt the item is on its way, but Pat has stated to several people, that it is on its way with the clear understanding that I am a cheat and a liar.

He has now taken a much more civil tone while bailing water. I am glad for that.
