Siggy Piggy

For the Sig lovers out there, I simply must let you know that I dropped the $1,500 yesterday on a beautiful new P226 X-Five in .40!! Before I go any further, I'll apologize that this post ain't accompanied by pics of MY gun, but Wifeypoo has the digicamera with her in Florida, so I can't post a picture of the new hotness. I've included a thumbnail from the Sig website, just so ya'll can see what I'm talking about.
Hurray! I got a great deal (considering that I've seen 'em as high as $2,200).

Sixto, I'm certain you'll appreciate this, since your sage advice had me convinced it was too expensive (and at MSRP, it certainly isn't cheap!). With my trade of a Taurus PT1911, I actually shelled out just over a grand, so I think this was a reasonable purchase after all.
This gun is asthetically thrilling, sexy enough to have me dreaming about it last night. Everything is so well fitted, perfectly balanced. Performance updates forthcoming, but I'm certain this gun is much more accurate than I am! Perhaps I'll be able to grow my skills to match the gun!

Congratulations on the purchase of a GREAT gun!

Smooth move - purchasing it while the wife is out of town Hope she doesn't know the combination to your safe.

Enjoy.

Adios,

Congrats.
Beautiful firearm & the SIGs work as good as they look.
Hurry up and put a big scratch on it so you won't baby it too much.

If you're calling it Siggy Piggy, your wife has been in Florida to long, or you just need a little help...

Congratulations on one sharp looking pistol. If your's is exactly as pictured (Nill grips, adjustable trigger), I'd say you got an excellent price. My two "go-to" places on the net for price checks list it at $2399.99 (Impact Guns) and $2206.00 (Bud's Gun Shop). Great buy, beautiful gun.

Then they are both violating Sig's MAP, which is $2438. But yes, if his is a level 1, then he got a smoking deal, since that is below cost.

Adios,

Six, as always, you're on the money. Perhaps therapy isn't too expensive after all. S'ok...I call my 870 'Remmy' and my Jeep is named 'Steve'. Help is essential. That, or the wife could hurry the heck up and git her tail home!
