I've strengthened my firearms collections and ammo supplies...because ya' never know...and I like buying the stuff anyway.

Stay armed...buy more ammo...stay safe!

I don't know if I'd call it panic buying, but I am in the process of getting more full capacity magazines for all my firearms and getting some more ammo to stock pile.

You got a good deal, and made a good decision not to wait. I've seen more folks in the gun shops buying than usual. It seems to happen every election year since the AWB of '94. I sincerely hope none of those buying ever even contemplated voting for or supporting that person who's name starts with 'O'.

My local gun shop has a great approach to the election. On the front of the building, there's a sign that says "If you plan to vote for Obama, deposit guns here" with an arrow pointing to... the garbage can!

If he doesn't have the weapons you want, it's because he isn't ordering them. We've got AK's and other evil rifles aplenty at the shop, there's not been a slowdown in the pipeline of wholesalers we use. There's no shortage in the supply line for them, with the possible exception of the Saiga's which dried up for a time and are still hard to get in quantity but that has more to do with their import to the US lately than panic buying.

When Obama says he won't take away your guns he is correct, he has people to do that for him.

While I normally don't let the election alter my gun purchases this time it has. I altered my purchasing to include more imports with mag capacities greater than 10. No real panic but when I wanted to buy a gun those are the ones I lean towards.

there is a crossroad gun show coming out here next month. It's the last one before the election, so it'll probably be a madhouse.

I purchased two guns over the last week. Not panic, but because I wanted them.

Panic purchases are for the ammo!!!
