I have a plan that involves stockpiling, yes. I wish I was older so I would have had more years to have been doing this before this election came up. This is a tough time to try to stock up on anything.

I stock up primarily for disasters. It was hurricanes in Florida and now potential winter issues in Colorado. Nonetheless, I like having "supplies." Ditto on ammo over food. Ammo has had repeated price increases. Take a look at your typical online distributors. Many calibers are totally out-of-stock and the company is NOT accepting backorders. Some calibers are in stock, but compare the price you see to last year and the year before that. Spare parts for each weapon is a good thing to have too. Not so much for SHTF, but when you need it, you need it. I am not comfortable hearing "Backordered 12 Weeks."

That's another reason I am sellIng my .40 and going to one platform, two guns, one caliber: .45. I've still got my long guns gut I am getting to the point where simple is much better than complex!

I plan on buying a semi auto shotgun, another upper for the AR, another .22 rifle, another 9mm handgun and a progressive reloading setup.

Bush II said the same thing. I'd be more worried about your congressperson.

Quite frankly guys and gals--I am scared of any of the front running candidates, Donkey or Elephant.

My stockpiling has been done for many years and that part doesnt worry me nearly so much as being ALLOWED to own and use what I already have.

Someone dearly needs to really pin the candidates down on firearms issues. Clear consice answers to clear concise questions. B.S. answers not allowed--simple yes and no will be all that is accepted.

" Would you sign legislation that would restrict ownership and use of firearms for lawful purposes?" Lawful, being defined as laws that are already in place. Yes or no??

Things to come......

I dont want to sound like an alarmist.....but I've had a list for over a year now and slowly working my way down the list.

I dont trust anyone in politics.....the system is broken.

I have a family to protect and I need to be ready for any senario.

I've taken heat for it from friends and co-workers......I dont care, my family is more important than what people think of me.

The list of guns is almost complete......each weapon is outfited with accessories and spare parts before moving on to the next on the list.
Ammo is a weekly purchase......16 30cal cans so far and 3 50cal cans. Food and water stocked.......generator in place........buying land out in the middle of nowhere in the spring.

I'll probably pick up a couple of cheap stripped AR lowers, just in case. I've almost got my amament list filled (AK plus mags is the only things left), so anything else I get will be for profit.

Is this hard to understand? Then why does it get unintelligible to some people when 5 little words are changed?
