welp, my local gun store won't see any changes in my buying habits, as I already buy from them 100% of all my firearms.

Never bought a firearm from WM. Been buying ammo there though. Video? You're already under surveillance in alot of places you DON'T know about. Me? I could care less, too much other stuff to worry about. Real stuff, not if's, and's, or might's. Hate to tell ya, but when you're in public, you give up certain privacy rights. Photographed, video taped, or otherwise.

Since I'm not a hunter, and all Wally World sells is hunting guns, I don't see myself buying any from them.

If I did, on the other hand, I might be tempted to ask them for a copy of my video......to commemorate my purchase....

.....maybe have the manager come out and shake my hand as we smile for the camera.....

LoL

I thought I heard down the grapevine that wally world was going to stop selling firearms. I'm sure the added cameras will help law enforcement a ton since the bad guys all legally obtain their guns from Wal-Mart (sarcasm added).

UMMMMM every FFL Holder is required to keep a bound book of people that bought guns from them.

Basically if you buy a gun at a gun store you go into a quote unquote log book. Its a requirement by ATF.

News flash guys..... Every transaction you make, whether buying firearms or underwear, is on camera at just about any large retail store.

Only select stores, not all of them. They've been closing the firearms sales from certain stores across the US for over a year now.

Many that complain about the video/surveillance/records keeping just are not knowledgeable about how that industry is regulated by the .govs.

My local (G.I.) Joe's has started doing that ... and I've stopped doing that there, informing them of why they were losing my business.

All in all, it's simply easier to buy in smaller firearms shops and via mail-order from some of the specialty ammo suppliers. In many cases, far less expensive too. Less malarkey to deal with.

I, for one, don't do Wally's.

The video didn't bother me as much as them hopping into bed with Bloomberg. I took back all my unopened firearms related stuff for a refund and started buying more from my local dealers.
