If they want to chance breaking the camera taking my mug shot have at it. It is just PR BS trying to impress the public that they are actually doing something like their buy American campaign. A recent fact in National Geographic says that 9% of all factory output in China will wind up on the shelves of Wal-Mart.

You are video taped pretty much from the time you walk in to the time you leave to start with so it isn't much more. It is almost like saying you don't want anyone to snap your picture gambling at a casino in Las Vegas.
Exactly. What do they think you're going to do? Go rob a bank with the Charles Daly shotgun and 100 rd value pac of 12ga you just bought at WW after filling out a 473 and passing a background check? I'm a law abiding citizen, and the last time I checked buying ammo at Wal Mart was legal. If they want to video tape me angagung in a legal activity in their store, let 'em. The only problem I have with it is while they're video taping me, some kid is probably stealing BBs, slingshot ammo or fishing lures, and WalMart is going to recoupe the cost of the taping and lost merchandise from me.

There's cameras watching them at the same time as well, they're everywhere and eyes in the skies are watching just like the casinos in some stores

Their internal employee theft will always be greater than the customers if they're like any large retailer in the nation.

If their inside cameras are as good as their outside cameras, then we have nothing to worry about. Most of Walmarts cameras either don't work and are for show or nobody is even watching them.
