Three years ago last month, three deer running together started south.
When they crossed the first road, one got hit by a car.
The other two deer continued on.
They crossed a second road.
Boom.
The remaining deer continued running.
My wife was coming up the intersecting road.
You guessed it.
Both the deer and her Nissan pickup came out in second place.
I got there not long after and put a .22 through the base of its skull, as near to the atlanto-axis joint as I could figure.
One shot, one kill.
The wife told me I could not use the same treatment on our poor suffering truck.

Speaking of deer hunting, not sure if anyone has seen this or not but it is awesome.

Makes me happy this guy is on our side.
