Couldn't find a 9mm bore snake
I have been looking for a 9 mm bore snake for 3 weeks. I checked a bunch of stores. Nobody had a 9mm bore snake. They had just about every other caliber, but the 9mms were always sold out.
I finally found one, but what is up with the 9mms all being bought up. BTW, at Wally World, the clerk said that Walmart didn't believe in bore snakes and they cannot get them any more.

Glad you found one, I think they're great. I think the Wally World guys comment about not believing in them is bizarre, and come to think of it, don't think I've ever seen one there.

I've been using a .40 boresnake in my 9mm, and it works great.

Thats what I buy; its always easier to find vs. the one labeled 9mm.

I have one--NIB, never used it. .38, .357, 9mm. I just use the brush that came with my Glocks, and I use 45 patches on everything. With the price of gas, I hope you called all of those stores first before actually going there.

Actually, the whole story is the only place that really sells a good assortment of defensive ammo is Sportsman's Warehouse. Unfortunately, it is on the completely other side of town. I was out on that side of town. I needed to pick up 9mm defensive ammo and I thought I would also pick up a bore snake since I was there. Sportsman's Warehouse, Walmart and Joes are within a few blocks of each other. I ended up going to all three. Only Joes had the bore snake. Only Sportsman's Warehouse had the ammo. I wanted to get the Federal HST but they didn't have it. I ended up with Speer 147gr Gold Dots.
