Cool!!!

As I recall, a forum member here designed something VERY similar using very thin PVC piping. I love the idea, myself. But... I have a set-up I prefer.

No, not going to get one of those any time soon. It looks like it would severely restrict the types of activies taking place in the bed without the gun being knocked out of its holder.

I will keep mine someplace else. Based on the recongnizable people on the commercial, it is targeted for women and much older men.

Actually, that's a good point; If using a "bedside shotgun rack" like this I'd definitely keep it "cruiser ready": Empty chamber, full magazine, safety off. Rack the pump and go.

It is an interesting idea, and if I didn't have a waterbed, I'd consider trying the PVC route.

Peace,
Pete Zaria.

Wow. Isn't it politically incorrect to advertise something like this on TV? I am surprised the networks let them do it. According to all the experts, we are just supposed to let the intruder have what he wants and he won't hurt you. I wonder if they sell those in England?

Man, I am rambling here. I have to stop and place my order.

I used a pair of bike hangers that I screwed into the wood of my box spring. I have a "cruiser" Mossberg 500A with only a pistol grip so standard shotgun holders like this one are too small. The way I have it tucked and situated, it's perfect. If I am in bed, I can drop my hand to the side and leverage the gun up and aim towards the door. All I have to do is kick my feet away.

I keep a full mag with 00 Buck and one in the tube.

Children old enough to walk are not allowed over unless I know they are safe with firearms.
