Okay, my address:

I hope posting it online isn't a mistake. Any food is okay, I am limited but the kids are not. I'll get by with whatever. I do have some medications to help offset certain food ingredients if eaten in moderation. I wish I could meet you all in person. And thank you. This is turned out to be more emberrasing than I thought, but , I didn't expect this kind of kindness to a stranger. Or anything really, but maybe sympathy about losing my last gun. You guys are the real thing, not many of your type left anymore. Thank you all again, I wish I had more than words to thank you. It just doesn't seem to convey how much I truly appreciate the kindness I am being shown. I really do believe it will come back to you three-fold. After this month, I will start paying anyone back for food or money I receive from them, if they want. I just need to make it to the first of July. No wife, new life! Now there is something to be grateful for!

I'm sorry to hear how things have turned out. Keep trying to raise your kids "old school." We need more parents like you.

I know dialysis is painful, inconvenient, and uncomfortable. We have a good friend who did it for years.

So things will be better after July 1? Maybe we can help you keep your head above water until then.

I'm sorry life didn't turn out as you had hoped. But you can still be an influence to your kids. Don't give up just yet, okay?

Please dont be embarrassed (even though I know its tough not to be).

Also, take what I asked with a grain of salt. I know of no one with any kind of disease or trouble as you have and I cannot fathom what that life is like. Thats why I asked my question, and it was out of ignorance.

In order to help you though, we would need a very comprehensive list of stuff you need and food you CAN eat. There is no need for those who will help to waste money and time sending stuff you cannot use. Others may send gift cards so you can supply yourself with what you need.

There are many people who love to help others who are in need. No need to feel ashamed about it. Its the way it should be. Someone needs something, others who can help should do so be it for a stranger or their family.

Walmart

Of course. I had to take the walk, right? There are two walmarts close by. Gift card from there is perfect. I'll send anyone who asks the receipt to show what I purchased with thier card. I don't want anyone to think I am not using this help for what I say I am.

As for foods I can eat....not many! Especially items that can be mailed. Anything is welcome, the kids are most important, and they will eat most anyhting, like most kids!

Good for dialyis patients is stuff on this site in the "low" categories. Moderate is okay. High is bad, bad, bad for me.
Dialysis food list: Kidney Dialysis Food Lists - Nephrology, Inc.
of course, most of the good stuff is in the "high" categories.
This link explains why certain foods must be limited or avoided: Hemodialysis Nutrition - Nephrology, Inc.

Hello all. dialysis tomorrow. The closer it gets, the worse I feel. bedtime for now. I'll check back in tomorrow sometime.

Note: I have neglected some bills, like net service. If I don't reply to this thread again, it is probably because I was disconnected. I don't expect it to be turned off yet, but just in case. Anyone who wants my phone number it's 417-831-3835. Call for anything, or nothing. I get free long distance, so if you want email your number and I'll call you. Call anytime, leave a voicemail if no answer and I'll get back to you. I am actually feeling pretty positive now, thanks to you all. Some folks to talk with is as good as food to me! I do need some friends to complain to, and talk guns and knives. if you want, don't hesitate to call me with any questions or whatever. I want to be completely open about what's going on, and I love to talk!

Youre right. Mental support is necessary to survival as well as physical food.

Your internet service is one of the reasons I suggested that some send a little cash too. Gift cards wont pay bills.

I have another thread running so people can sell some uneeded items and donate some cash if they desire.

Here is a link to Wal-Mart Gift Cards you can purchase online and have them sent to anyone. Easier than mailing by postal mail!
