I spoke with him by phone last weekend and he was getting ready for his move. He didn't know when he would be online next. He said he'd try to make it to a library at some point to use the computer.

I don't think he'd mind me telling you he was very touched and surprised by the reaction to his situation by members of DC. In spite of his difficulties at the moment, his spirits were lifted by the generosity of the folks here.

Hang in there, Brian. Let us here from you when you get a chance.

Gunnutty sent me extra money for shipping on the gun I auctioned which I sent to Brians paypal account last week and emailed him to let him know but haven't heard a reply back

Hey guys! I got moved. Still no regular net acccess. I am also trying to get a car. I may even get a part time job. Things are definately looking up, but I got a couple more tight months ahead. By about September or October I hope to be back in full swing, and hopefully online! Thank you all very much, I think you may have saved my life! Bless you all, Brian

I'm sorry that I have missed your thread before. I've just read it.

I'm sorry to hear what situation you are in. If I had lived closer to you (live in Sweden), I could have come by and give you some stuff.

I did send you a small donation with paypal, though. Not much unfortunately, but better than nothing.

Well, I have been in contact with him since this all happened and he seems to be real and his situation seemed to be real. Some here have spoken with him on the phone.

I mean, what did anyone really lose if it isnt real?? What could this man have lost if we had not cared enough to try to help?

He had more than 100 posts on this forum, regular everyday posts, before he fell onto hard enough times to ask what to do.

He never asked me for anything ,everything that I gave was because I felt this individual was in a place where if he got a little help it would change his situation,I donated a small fraction of what my shooting hobby costs me a year.I put that much lead down range in a month sometimes, so to each their own.I know what It's like to feel like theres no hope and everytime you turn around it seems more hopeless if you've never been there your very lucky
