Nope, no registration or fees here in Texas. If you have you CHL, they don't even have to do a background check. Just fill out 4473 sign it and out the door you go.

We do pay for auto registration, and drivers license, but not for a business license, at least not where I live.

Another great reason to live in Texas.

You can own a number of guns that can't be tracked to you by just looking it up on a computer. True with some detective work (assuming all the players in the chain are still alive) LOEs can track a gun's history, once they get their hands on it.

But that is far different that having to register every gun you own.

I've never been charged a fee for my safety inspections. Hopefully we can get rid of this silly inspection/registration process.
