Where do you buy your 1911 magazines?

I'm wanting to get a few CMC Shooting Star magazines.
I've found some good prices at MidwayUSA and Natchez and Cheaper Than Dirt, but the shipping charge itself is as much as a single magazine.
It's like paying for 3 magazines but only getting two.
Any ideas of a vendor with lower shipping charges? I don't mind USPS (slower, but less expensive), but all of the vendors I listed didn't have that option.

I use to buy all mine on eBay before they made their policy even less gun friendly.

You might want to hit the next gun show in your area, the Wilsons will always fetch a premium, but the CMC Shooting Star mags go for around $15-$20, or at least use to, I haven't looked in a while.

Now I just surf the 1911 forums looking for Wilsons and Tripp Cobra mags, every now and then you'll find someone selling off a half dozen here, a half dozen there. I think I bought my last batch of Cobra mags on M1911.org, I noticed another lot of them for sale there recently, but passed on them.

Other than that, find whoever had the lowest total price (shipping included) for what you want and go with them.

I want to say that Natchez is hard to beat, but you may also want to try Arizona Gun Runners and CDNN.

Do a "want to buy" post here and the other 1911 forums.

Ordered a few Mec-gars & Novaks through topgunsupply.com shipping is a flat rate $7.95 for non-gun orders. Everything delivered promptly & as ordered. I think the all metal blue steel 8 round Chip McCormick Shooting Stars are going for $14.95 w/ other styles a bit higher.

You can also get together with some friends or folks from your range and do a group order with one shipping cost.

I can't recall ever buying less than 6 mags a time, and usually 12. Brownells is my choice except I often use Sig directly for Sig Mags.
