I have been looking around for a good set of 3 dot sights for my SA 1911 GI 5" and really have no idea who makes a decent set. I don't like the sights on it right now and after shooting my dad's old ruger p89 with the 3 dot system I have grown quite fond of them. Which brand's should I be looking at when searching for these sights? Also, it doesn't matter if they are night sights or not, I just want to change these out.

For three dots I really like the Novak low mount sights, I like their night sight version even better. Lately I've really started enjoying the Heinie SlantPro Straight Eights though, takes a little getting use to the two dot style but I'm diggin' it.
