Exclamation Negligent discharge page (Merged)

found this (rather graphic caution!) story about a guy that had a ND and was not too proud to post it in hopes that others could learn from his mistakes.

I've seen it before, but glad you posted it.

From the page:

Quote:
The reason I have created this page is to raise awareness of firearm safety and hopefully prevent other people from injuring or killing themselves or others.
I have to appreciate someone who takes ownership of their mistakes and then goes an extra mile to help others avoid them. I'm not much for gore stuff, but pictures of real gunshot wounds are a pretty serious teaching tool in that context.

This has been posted before. It is great that this guy took the time to show how serious it can be for being careless. Thankfully he was not seriously injured and I believe he will learn from this far more than anyone else.

I'm pretty sure this has been posted before. I'm also pretty sure this was a negligent discharge, NOT accidental.

Have a friend that recently shot himself in the foot by holstering his Glock 21 with his finger on the trigger.

A very experienced shooter, but I will not shoot with him again. Yes - I was there.
