Open carry for non-residents?
Curious as to the requirements to open carry. If you are in an area that allows open carry, do you need a CCW permit? If a non resident legally brought a firearm into the US and was in a area that allowed open carry, could they?

It depends on state law if OC is legal without a permit, in VA and PA it is, but as for the other states, I have no idea.
As for carrying it, I don't see why not. In all honesty, your questions would probably be better answered at OCDO.

Depends on the state. For Michigan, I'd say no since you can't bring a handgun into the state without a CCW unless you plan on staying as a resindent is the way I read the law.
