Sorry to disapoint everyone, your really gonna thrash me when I tell ya this is what I carry right now.
No disapoint, or thrashing here. I could never frown upon a Ruger wheelgun. I love the grip on yours. Makes me jealous...

Hope ya find the right holster for your .45.

Bruce,

Looks like you have a few '94 Winchesters there.

I like them too.

Bruce, you reallly need to shore up that ammo shelf before you have to start playing 52 bullet pickup in a big way.

My gun room will look like that some day

sorry looks like a G T W

Circle...inside the circle is a Large Round "G" ~ "W" inside that & then an inner "T" - not an "H"

It was my Dads - not for sale at any price in case you're wondering.
It goes to my little nephew eventually.

WTG: Cap. Walter T Gorton cartouche, inspected Colt's in the 700,000-710,000 serial# range. Nice 1924, is it original finish?

Unfortuantly, I don't have any of the more desirable chamberings, mine are in 30WCFs & a 32WS. OH yeah, I got pics.

I was working on a John Wayne commertive '94, with the big lever, but the guy bailed on me, said his wife wouldn't let him sell it Like the 1911 the old winchesters hold a sepcial place in my heart. Th efirst deer I ever shot was with the 25-35 '94 that is on my rack.

I have found that the old wins and the older remington 742's the iron sights are always right there when ever I pull it up.

My father hunts with the Remm. 742's, I usto, but they are so darn heavy that I switched to a winchester 70 feather light in 308 for my hunting rifle, and I swear by it, wouldn't trade it for all the tea in china.
