As far as I know, LCP's are in full swing. I got mine back when they first came out, but the line for them at the Gander Mtn near me is in the dozen range.

They will both be forgotten when the Kahr P380 comes out! OK, maybe not due to the price difference. If Seecamp/Rohrbaugh ever ramped up production and reduced prices to get off their elite high horse, ALL the small pistol makers would be shaking in their boots.

Smith was sued by Glock but glock had patent law on their side if KelTec did not file the right patents they will have a hard time.
I also found it funny that all the writers are praising it yet the same gun has been out there with a different name for years...

Ruger, KelTec, Kahr, Seecamp, Rohrbaugh, NAA, what does it matter? These companies can sell every pocket pistol they make. Nobody is going to cut into anybody else's market share.

KelTec shouldn't sue Ruger, they should thank them!

What does it matter? If you steal a design and sell it as your own, you are doing damage to those you stole it from. It matters a lot when you take what isn't yours and profit from it.

When I called Ruger about the LCP they wrote me back and said they added 49 more to a second line and were shipping 500 LCPs a day! I got mine last week along with a new Seecamp .32. Both shot very well and I was surprised how little difference there is in recoil.

Kel Tec didn't design the pistol they make.... they inherited it too... so they don't really have much reason to squawk about it since they pay no royalties either.

Ruger is producing hard and fast. Have turned off much of their contract work to focus on their own product. LCP on hold? no way !!

I'll bet Ruger isn't that foolish. I'm sure they did their homework.
